Our Story

The Story Behind FLASH

Flash Nostalgia Booth was created from my love for memories.

In a world where everything is moving so fast and the years seem to go by faster every year, I find myself constantly looking back at old photos and memories. Sometimes they're not even from that long ago, just a few years back.

To me, photos are the closest thing we have to time travel. They allow us to look back into the past and revisit a moment frozen in time. A photo can instantly bring back a feeling, a memory, a person, or a version of yourself that no longer exists except in that photograph.

As we get older, we're always focused on what's next. The next goal. The next milestone. The next chapter. We spend so much time looking ahead that we forget to appreciate the moments and memories we're creating right now. The reality is that one day, you'll look back and feel nostalgic for the life you're living today.

I've been Taking Polaroids ever since I was 12, when I got my first Polaroid camera. Since then, I've taken hundreds of photos on film, documenting my life as I've grown up. One day, I'll be able to sit down with my children and show them real photographs of who I was at their age. Real moments captured on film. No filters. No editing. Just memories exactly as they happened.

More than a photo booth, it's about creating something you can hold onto. It's about preserving moments that would otherwise become memories. It's about giving people a way to capture a piece of their story before it becomes part of the past.

Because memories fade, but photographs let us revisit them forever.

I’m Ashley and i started FL'ASH Nostalgia Booth because memories mean everything to me. If years from now someone finds a photo strip from FL'ASH tucked away in a drawer and it brings them right back to that moment, the people they loved, and the memories they made, then I've accomplished my goal. I believe life is about making memories, sharing them with the people we love, and appreciating the moments that make life special. If  Flash Nostalgia can be a small part of those moments, then I've done something meaningful.

To me, that's what this life is all about.

The same way my mom was able to show me pictures of herself growing up, I want to be able to give my kids that same experience.

That's what FL’ASH is all about.
